First Year at Summer Camp
Two summers ago, we had the pleasure of taking Taylor to the same youth summer camp that my mom, myself and brother went to growing up. It brought back so many wonderful memories for me and couldn't wait to hear how much fun he had when we picked him up almost a week later. We didn't even make it out of the parking lot before he asked, "Can I come back next year?"

Sad to see her go.......
At the end of Taylor's 3rd grade year, the principal, Jeanne decided it was time to retire. She and her husband/family had so many exciting plans and she worked so hard for Taylor's school and was just an absolute joy to know. She was such a great mentor for Taylor as well as the school as a whole it was so sad for all of us when she retired. Taylor wanted to make sure he got a picture with her before she was gone, so this one's for him! He still does get to see her every now and then as she does come back for different activities the school does as well as their plays at the Hult Center!
Just a few visitors.......
Every spring, we have some visitors with having the pool and all. These same two ducks (whom we have named Donald and Daisy respectively) come every year and it is a lot of fun to see them. This last year Daisy came by for a one day visit with 11 ducklings! Will try to put those pics up later.......The top picture is just of a nasty racoon running through the yard......thank goodness he didn't fall in the pool!

Picnic/Playing at the park
After my neck surgery I was feeling quite cooped up with being inside and confined to a chair for the better part of the day whether I was eating, watching TV or sleeping. Right before Roger was to go back to work, I suggested going to the park for a picnic and some play time for Taylor, and I could get some fresh air. So here are a few pics from that day!

Taylor's school play
Every year, the 3rd, 4th & 5th graders at Taylor's school work very hard on a play/musical and they present it for 2 nights at the Hult Center as well as put on matinee shows during the day for other area schools. It is always a fantastic play and is always fun to watch the kids with all their enthusiasm that we cannot wait for the next year's play. Here is Taylor in the 3rd grade going through the makeup process to transform into his character.......the Beaver.
Riding the dunes
Trip to the snow......
Time to play "catch up"
So you will have to excuse as to what seems to be my laziness, we have a lot going on in the next couple of weeks, but I am going to try and put photos on here of some past pics for people to see. I was going to have a _ _ space profile for family to keep up on our happenings, but didn't realize at first that in order to view the pics you needed to have a profile yourself.......so over the next several weeks, I will play "catch up" with what photos I have stored......Hope you enjoy!

Getting Started
I have been having fun seeing other people's blogs and keeping up on what's been happening in their lives. So I thought it would be fun to start my own blog and that way people can see up to date photos of our family and keep up with what we are doing! I hope to keep up on this as best I can and hope that you enjoy it as well!
